Event Recap
The March 24, 2025 episode of WWE Raw from Glasgow had that loud, chaotic European tour energy where the crowd is hot for almost everything—even the stuff that doesn’t fully land. The night kicked off with John Cena and Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes in the ring together again, and the tension between them keeps getting sharper every week. Cena ran his mouth about taking the championship and walking away with it, basically promising to ruin everyone’s happy ending, while Rhodes fired back that he’d stop him before that ever happens. It wasn’t subtle, but it was heated enough that the crowd ate it up. In the ring, Lyra Valkyria defended the Women’s Intercontinental Championship against Raquel Rodriguez in a physical match where Rodriguez tried to bully the champion with power. Valkyria survived the punishment and managed to retain after chaos broke out involving Liv Morgan, which brought Bayley down to even the odds afterward. Meanwhile, Jey Uso revealed a mystery partner for his tag match against A-Town Down Under, and the surprise turned out to be Jimmy Uso. The brothers looked like they hadn’t missed a beat, finishing the match with the 1-D and getting the win before Gunther showed up afterward to stir the pot with Jey again. Dragon Lee also had a rough night when the mysterious El Grande Americano made his debut and forced Lee to tap out with an ankle lock after ripping off Lee’s mask—never a good sign if you’re a luchador. The show closed with Bron Breakker defending the Intercontinental Championship against Penta in a match the Glasgow crowd was fully invested in. The fight turned intense and messy before outside interference wrecked the finish and left things unresolved. It wasn’t the clean main event people probably hoped for, but it definitely kept the title situation boiling heading toward WrestleMania.

Summary
Jey Uso’s mystery partner didn’t stay a mystery long once the music hit—Jimmy Uso walked out and the crowd immediately understood what was happening. The reunited Usos took on Austin Theory and Grayson Waller, and the match quickly turned into a fast-paced tag fight. Waller and Theory tried to isolate Jimmy early with quick tags and cheap shots, but once Jey got the hot tag the momentum shifted fast. Jey ran wild with strikes and superkicks before the brothers set up their classic teamwork. The finish came when The Usos connected with the 1-D, dropping Waller and picking up the win. It wasn’t the longest match, but seeing the brothers working together again gave the whole thing extra energy.

Summary
Lyra Valkyria had a tough challenge defending the Women’s Intercontinental Championship against Raquel Rodriguez, who came in with Liv Morgan backing her up. Rodriguez tried to control the match with raw power, throwing Valkyria around and cutting off her attempts to speed things up. Valkyria kept slipping away and firing back with quick strikes whenever she could create space. Late in the match things got messy when Liv Morgan got involved at ringside, which nearly gave Rodriguez the edge. Valkyria managed to catch Rodriguez in a sudden victory-roll style pin to retain the championship. After the bell, Morgan attacked Valkyria, but Bayley ran down to the ring and cleared things out before the situation got worse
Summary
Dragon Lee stepped into the ring against the mysterious El Grande Americano, and the match had a weird vibe from the start. Lee tried to keep things moving with his usual fast-paced offense, using kicks and aerial attacks to stay ahead. Americano slowed the pace whenever he could and focused on Lee’s leg, repeatedly targeting it to limit his movement. Eventually that strategy paid off. After breaking Lee down, Americano locked in a tight ankle lock in the middle of the ring. Lee fought it for a bit but finally had to tap out. To make things worse, Americano ripped Lee’s mask off during the match, which is basically the ultimate disrespect in lucha culture.

Summary
Bron Breakker defended the Intercontinental Championship against Penta in the main event, and the crowd in Glasgow was fully invested once these two started throwing bombs. Penta tried to control the early pace with kicks and quick counters, but Breakker kept charging back with bursts of power and his ridiculous speed. The match built into a pretty intense back-and-forth battle, with both guys landing near falls and signature offense. Just when it looked like the finish might be coming, outside interference wrecked everything and the referee called for the disqualification. Breakker technically retained the title, but it definitely didn’t feel like a satisfying ending after the fight these two were having.
