If Oba didn't announce himself to the world yesterday on ESPN, he certainly did tonight. The crowd went wild as he opened the show with his signature strut to the ring. He kept it short and sweet. He grabbed the mic and announced "The Ruler has arrived!" The crowd chanted his name and that was it.
So, he's officially a Raw wrestler now. Right? Righttttt?
Rhea Ripley & Iyo Sky
Final
Pinfall
The Kabuki Warriors
Summary
Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky—collectively RHIYO—defeated Asuka and Kairi Sane in a solid but overly familiar tag team clash.
The match followed a familiar formula, with Ripley playing the powerhouse role and Sky providing speed and high-impact offense. After an early surge from the Kabuki Warriors—including a big In-Sane Elbow from Sane to the outside—RHIYO regained control when Ripley made the hot tag, setting up a fast-paced closing stretch.
Sky caught fire with her signature Bullet Train Attacks before tagging Ripley back in for a strong double-team sequence, combining a Razor’s Edge with a missile dropkick. The Kabuki Warriors answered with quick teamwork of their own, landing a Codebreaker–Neckbreaker combo and nearly securing the win before Sky broke it up.
The finish came after a miscue from the Kabuki Warriors, as Sane accidentally caused Asuka to take the brunt of a dive from Sky. RHIYO capitalized immediately, hitting a Riptide–Over the Moonsault combo on Sane to secure the victory.

CM Punk comes to the ring to thank the fans. He talks about all of the trials and tribulations he (and WWE) has experienced in the recent months and how being Champion is what fueled and motivated him to get up and keep pushing forward every day, even when he wanted to wallow in his tears. Ultimately, he was disappointed to lose last night, but he has accepted it and is at peace. Mostly because he knows that he just has to be ready for when the next title opportunity drops in his lap.
CUE Cody Rhodes. The American Nightmare, sporting a nastly black and swollen eye, makes his way to the ring to join Punk. The two end up having an awkward exchange, as Cody has a rare moment where he struggles to find the right words. He even accidentally implies Punk probably feels like a loser today. Punk laughs it off and says he understands why Cody had such a difficult time with his match on Night 1. It's because he fought a friend, a mentor, someone he cares about. And that's difficult. Punk says it was easy to stomp the face of someone he hates.
Punk finishes off by telling Cody that he's at peace, because heavy is the head that wears the crown. Cody is still champion, and that is a burden. Punk is free of that burden. But also (he leans in close to Cody) you just never know when another title shot will drop into your lap.
As Punk exits the ring, Cody gets the last word: Hey Punk, just say when."
Summary
Ethan Page earned a opportunistic victory over Je'Von Evans in a solid, action-heavy match that mixed athleticism with outside interference.
Evans brought his usual high-energy style early, using speed and creativity to keep Page off balance with moves like a diving crossbody and a slick roll-through stunner. Page responded with power, slowing things down with heavy strikes and a punishing backbreaker, eventually showcasing his strength with a big powerslam after dragging Evans off the top rope.
Just as Evans started to build momentum again—sending Page into the ring post and landing a superkick—the match took a turn. Rusev appeared at ringside and attempted to attack Evans. Although he missed and avoided a disqualification, the distraction was enough for Page to capitalize, hitting his finisher to steal the win.
The chaos didn’t stop there. Rusev continued the assault after the bell, locking Evans in the Accolade until Penta made the save. However, Page blindsided Penta from behind, aligning himself—at least temporarily—with Rusev as the two stood tall. Rusev remained somewhat unimpressed but continued the attack, even posing with the Intercontinental Championship to close the segment.

The Judgment Day parades to the ring to celebrate Liv's championship win. Liv thanks her Judgment day crew, and thanks Stephanie for pushing her to the limit and helping her prove that she is the best woman in WWE.
Sol Ruca interrupts. Another NXT call up?!
Sol tries to be complimentary but Liv isn't buying it. Live is pissed that her moment is being interrupted. As tension heats up, out comes Adam Pearce to make it official: Liv vs Sol...starting NOW
Summary
Liv Morgan picked up a hard-fought win over Sol Ruca in a fast-paced and highly entertaining match that showcased Ruca as a rising star.
The bout started competitively, with both women trading momentum—Morgan using her experience and aggression, while Ruca impressed with explosive athleticism, including a moonsault off the post and a series of high-impact strikes. Ruca had several near-falls and standout moments, even countering Morgan’s Oblivion with a flashy handstand escape and hitting her Sol Snatcher finisher, only for Morgan to narrowly escape to the outside.
Things unraveled when Judgment Day loomed at ringside, and interference ultimately tipped the scales. Zaria—Ruca’s rival—blindsided her while the referee wasn’t looking, slamming her into the ring post and hitting a spinebuster. Despite barely beating the count back into the ring, Ruca was immediately finished off by Morgan’s Oblivion.

Segment recap
Well, this was an interesting segment. A little all over the place, but here are the footnotes:
- Heyman says he was shocked by Brock's retirement last night. And he is pissed that the backstage crew didn't take Brock's picture out of the NOW portion of the opening video and into the forever section.
- Heyman says thank you to Gunther and says anytime Gunther want to cash in his favor, he can.
- Logan takes the mic and rants about the Usos and the traitor iShowSpeed, and complains about social media influencers infilftrating THEIR sport. (I mean, the irony is funny here)
- Heyman announces the return of Bron Breakker. Breakker comes out and takes over.
- Bron screams about how weak and lame Rollins was as a leader, and how it was clear that HE was the actual leader of the Vision from day one.
Seth's music hits and he quickly slides in the ring behind the Vision and rocks Breakker with a chair to the back. The Vision quickly outnumber Seth and pummel him. He's all alone...
Until THE STREET PROFITS come to his aide. (Yes, you read that right)
The Profits make quick work of Logan Paul and Austin Theory, chasing them through the crowd.
Back in the ring, Seth superkicks Breakker and busts him open. But a bloody Breakker quickly turns the tables and annihilates Rollins.

Summary
Finn Bálor defeated JD McDonagh in a relatively short main event match that never fully reached a high gear. Before the bell even rang, Bálor took control by attacking McDonagh around the ring and into the crowd, setting an aggressive tone.
Once the match officially started, Bálor pushed for a quick finish, but McDonagh managed to counter early and briefly shift momentum. The turning point came when McDonagh attempted a moonsault, only for Bálor to counter by getting his knees up. That opened the door for Bálor to hit his signature Coup de Grace and secure the win.
After the match, Dominik Mysterio attacked Bálor, continuing their ongoing storyline, though the post-match angle felt unnecessary and didn’t add much intrigue.

Roman makes his way through gorilla position where Jey and Jimmy are there to greet him. Before he walks through the curtain he nods like "you want to join?"...and they do. Roman walks out to the ring with the Usos by his side. He says that when he passed by the Usos on the way out, he figured this would be a good time to deal with some family business. He reminds the Usos how great the Bloodline was and how when they were together, they were unstoppable. He says he doesn't need them to serve him, but to stand by him. He asks them directly, if they will rejoin him. Jimmy speaks for him and Jey both. The answer. YES.
They throw up the ones in the middle of the ring. Until...
FATUUUUU! --- Jacob Fatu's music hits and the Samoan Werewolf joins his cousins in the ring.
Roman says "There are only two reasons you'd be out here. Either you want to acknowledge me, or you want this title"
Jacob says "I don't want that title...I need that title!" And he challenges Roman to a match at Backlash! (Are we really getting full-time Roman Reigns back?!)
Roman cringes. He knew it was coming, but didn't want it. He says he's not saying no, but he wants to give Fatu a week to reconsider. He says he'll see Jacob next week on RAW and they can continue the conversation then. As they leave Fatu in the ring, Roman tells Jimmy to talk some sense into their cousin. Jimmy says he will.
Roll credits.
