Summary
OTC energy was alive and well in a full-blown war as Roman Reigns and CM Punk tore the house down for nearly 34 minutes in a WrestleMania main event that felt like a fight more than a match. These two beat the hell out of each other—through announce tables, with stolen finishers, submission counters, and straight-up dirty tactics. Punk even went low and still couldn’t keep Reigns down. Every near-fall had the crowd losing it, especially after GTSs, Superman Punches, and multiple Spears kept getting kicked out of like it was nothing. In the end, exhaustion told the story. Punk tried to go back to the well one too many times, his body gave out, and that was all the opening Reigns needed. Two brutal Spears later, and the Tribal Chief sealed it—Roman Reigns defeats CM Punk to reclaim the World Heavyweight Championship. OTC is back on top, and after a match like that, it’s hard to argue he didn’t earn it.
