ROAD TO SUMMERSLAM: Injured Wrestlers To Keep On Your Radar

Getting hurt is part of this violent little circus we all pretend isn’t scripted. If you want to win your league, you better be glued to the injury report like it owes you money. These five names right here are difference makers. If they pop back up, you need to be first in line like it’s Black Friday at Best Buy.

#1: Bron Breakker

Bron is basically a cheat code in human form. He’s a consensus 13th pick in the Road to SummerSlam draft, but right now he’s on the shelf. If your league is sleeping on that, congrats, you just found your edge.

This dude is built for main event life for the next decade. The Bad Ass is an explosive wrecking ball that looks like he was created in a lab specifically to ruin people’s afternoons. If he shows up around WrestleMania season and decides to insert himself into something like Seth Rollins vs Gunther, his value is going to skyrocket overnight.

But if his return gets pushed down the road, he could quietly sit there in free agency just waiting to be stolen. That’s league-winning upside sitting in plain sight.

#2: Bianca Belair

Bianca is a star. Period. End of discussion. The EST is one of those talents that changes match quality just by walking out. Right now she’s outside the consensus big board thanks to that finger injury that has dragged on way longer than anyone expected.

If she goes undrafted, which is very possible, you need to be monitoring her recovery like it’s your job. Because when she comes back, she’s not easing in. She’s going straight into the biggest matches on the show. She might be the most complete female wrestler on the roster when healthy, and that is saying something.

#3: Kevin Owens

Fight, Kevin, fight. Fans have been waiting to scream that again and honestly, so have we.

Kevin Owens had successful neck fusion surgery in July 2025 and is set to be re-evaluated this summer. The big question is simple. Can he actually return or not? Nobody really knows.

His last run had him in a main event level feud with Cody Rhodes. That’s the kind of ceiling we are talking about here. If he gets cleared, you are not just adding a solid piece. You are potentially adding a centerpiece.

#4: Naomi

One thing is always true in WWE. Timelines are more of a suggestion than a rule.

Naomi is currently on maternity leave and not expected back until after the Road to SummerSlam wraps up. That’s the official word.

But here’s the thing. She’s already had the baby. And in wrestling, that usually means the countdown has quietly started whether anyone says it out loud or not. Tick. Tick. Tick. Don’t be shocked if she shows up sooner than expected and flips the entire landscape.

#5: Bronson Reed

Bronson Reed is a problem. A big one. Literally and figuratively.

Right now he’s dealing with a pretty nasty bicep tear, and those timelines are all over the place. Anywhere from 3 to 9 months, with the longer end usually being more realistic. Not ideal.

Before the injury in February, he was a major piece in one of the biggest ongoing storylines as part of The Vision and locked in for serious PLE points. When he comes back healthy, the “Tribal Thief” is going to immediately matter again. Big men like that don’t ease their way back in. They show up and start throwing people through things.
