March 10, 2025 — Madison Square Garden, New York City, New York
Event Recap
The March 10, 2025 episode of WWE Raw rolled into Madison Square Garden with the kind of buzz you only get when WWE hits one of wrestling’s most famous buildings, and the crowd was loud from the start. Jey Uso kicked things off against Grayson Waller, and while Waller hung in there longer than expected, Uso eventually shut things down with a huge Spear for the win. That celebration didn’t last long, though, because Gunther showed up afterward and choked Uso out, reminding everyone exactly who the World Heavyweight Champion is. The tag division got chaotic next with a Tornado Tag match as The New Day battled Rey Mysterio and Dragon Lee. With no tags required the match turned into a wild brawl around the ring, and New Day managed to steal the win after outside interference from a masked man added even more confusion to the mess. Later in the night, Raquel Rodriguez squared off with Bayley in a No. 1 contender’s match for the Women’s World Championship. Rodriguez used her size advantage throughout and eventually powered her way to the pin, putting herself next in line for a title shot. The night built toward a brutal Steel Cage main event between CM Punk and Seth Rollins, and the two absolutely beat the hell out of each other. They traded finishers, refused to simply escape the cage, and fought like two guys who genuinely hate each other. Just when it looked like the match might finally end clean, Roman Reigns made a shocking return, yanking Rollins out of the cage to hand him the win before destroying both men with a Superman Punch and a spear. It was a chaotic ending that left the Garden crowd buzzing and made it clear this rivalry is far from finished.

Summary
Jey Uso opened the show against Grayson Waller, and the match quickly turned into a mix of athletic counters and outside distractions thanks to Austin Theory lurking at ringside. Waller had a few strong moments early, landing a diving elbow and slowing the pace whenever he could. Uso kept fighting back with his usual explosive offense, including a Samoan Drop that shifted the momentum. Theory tried to get involved more than once, but Jey handled that too, blasting him with a superkick to neutralize the interference. Once Waller was back in the ring, Uso wasted no time finishing the job. He exploded across the ring with a Spear and scored the pinfall to pick up the win. The celebration didn’t last long though, as World Heavyweight Champion Gunther attacked after the match and locked in a brutal sleeper hold to leave Uso laid out.

Summary
This Tornado Tag match was chaotic from the start since there were no tags required, meaning all four guys were free to fight at the same time. Rey Mysterio and Dragon Lee leaned into their speed early, flying around the ring with dives and quick strikes that kept Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods scrambling. The match spilled to the outside several times as everyone tried to land something big. Things got even stranger when a masked man suddenly jumped the barricade and attacked Rey, hitting a Frankensteiner and tossing him back into the ring before disappearing into the crowd. With Mysterio shaken up from the surprise attack, New Day took advantage of the moment. Kingston and Woods quickly set up their tandem finisher, Up Up Down Down, and planted Rey in the middle of the ring to score the pinfall in the middle of all the chaos.

Summary
Raquel Rodriguez and Bayley squared off with a title opportunity on the line, and the match played out like a classic power-versus-experience battle. Bayley tried to keep Rodriguez off balance early by targeting her legs and using quick strikes to stay out of Raquel’s grasp. That strategy worked for a while, but the moment Rodriguez managed to get her hands on Bayley the entire match shifted. Raquel started throwing Bayley around with heavy slams and used her strength advantage to control long stretches of the match. Bayley still managed a few close near-falls with roll-ups and counters, but she couldn’t keep Rodriguez down for long. In the end, Raquel muscled Bayley up and drove her to the mat before securing the pinfall, earning herself a future championship opportunity and celebrating with Dominik Mysterio and Liv Morgan afterward.

Summary
The main event Steel Cage match between Seth Rollins and CM Punk turned into a long, brutal fight where neither guy seemed interested in escaping the cage for an easy win. Instead, they spent most of the match trying to beat each other senseless. Punk landed several big strikes and nearly finished Rollins with the Go to Sleep, while Rollins fired back with the Stomp and a series of desperate counters. Both men had chances to climb out of the cage but refused, choosing to keep the fight going inside the structure. The match finally reached its wild conclusion when Roman Reigns suddenly returned and pulled Rollins out of the cage, handing him the victory in controversial fashion. Reigns wasn’t done, though—he immediately attacked both men with a Superman Punch and a spear, leaving them both wrecked as the show ended in complete chaos.
